Get ready to witness the most epic competition of the year!  The 2024 Illinois State Fair Mullet Competition is all about celebrating the boldest and most daring hairdos.  Register today for a chance to win CASH prizes and an automatic bid to compete at the national level!  Join us in the Grand Central Stage to cheer on our local competitors and celebrate this iconic American style.

NEW THIS YEAR: 

Is your child rockin’ a wild mane?  It’s time to put those locks to the test!

New this year, kids ages 8-17 may register online for a chance to compete in the Kids Mullet Parade.   

These selected participants will walk across the stage with flare and pizazz to strut their stuff prior to the adult competition.  The overall winner will receive an Illinois State Fair prize basket – but more importantly, the bragging rights that will last (at least) an entire year!
